Where’s Arsenio Hall?
You know, I was watching t.v. the other night and I had a thought… What happened to Arsenio Hall? More importantly, why don’t we have Black people hosting late night shows on basic channels to be viewed by everyone. Since Arsenio left, there has been no replacement for Black people in late night t.v. I remember watching Arsenio during the ’90’s. Various artists performances in addition to some in-depth conversations with influential people in society. It wasn’t all laughter. It was informative and entertaining. This is an area of Black television which should have been built upon but is now absent and almost forgotten. We need to bring back Arsenio!
